Personal Survival Techniques

Objectives

The objective of this training is to provide the followings competences:

Survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment

Use of helicopters for rescue from ship and liferaft

Manage survivors and liferaft after abandoning ship

Use locating devices, including communication and signaling apparatus and pyrotechnics;

Apply first aid to survivors

Construction of liferaft

Liferaft launching

Actions to take on boarding

Prerequisite

At least 18 years

Identification card or passport

1 passport size

Intermediate, upper intermediate or advanced English
